The rapid development of technology generated a lot of instant messaging applications, as an example is LINE Messenger, Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, BlackBerry Messenger, etc. Many instant messaging applications cause some problems, one of which is the possibility of owning more than one instant messaging applications to meet messaging needs. This is very ineffective because messages will be received from various instant messaging applications and have to open all instant messaging applications one by one to reply to those messages. Application Programming Interface technology of instant messaging can be used to build a transport layer system that allows message exchange with several instant messaging applications using only one instant messaging application. The system built in this research requires a master instant messaging to be able to distribute messages to partner instant messaging, which in this case uses LINE Messenger as the master instant messaging to distribute messages to several partner instant messaging, which is Telegram and Extensible Messaging Presence Protocol.[...] Read more.
The methodology of teaching informatics is a reflection subject that arouses increasing interest both locally and internationally. Debates on the curricula of the discipline are always at the center of many discussions amongst computer scientists and other concerned educators. Teaching Computer science in secondary schools is increasingly perceived as having similar status like teaching mathematics, life and earth sciences, chemistry, and physics. In this paper we report and analyze the current status of computer science education in Moroccan secondary schools in light of the governing official instructions by the ministry of education. We also discuss the generalization of computer education in Moroccan secondary schools probing the emergence of teaching it as a disciplinary subject rather than a tool in other fields. Our analysis shows that teaching informatics in Morocco is not conform to the set ministerial objectives and it necessitate a reform in both its teaching methodology and content.[...] Read more.
Designing interactive question-response systems has become an important challenge in Artificial Intelligence which aims to build a computer program, referred to as Chatbot, able to manage an online human-computer conversation with natural language. The number of chatbots continues to increase these recent years using different languages, tools and platforms and has been used in several domains, such as marketing, education and medicine. One of the most important issues in designing chatbots is its degree of interoperability with human natural language. In this context, we propose in this work a new messenger chatbot design approach based on Wit.ai and Word Sequence kernel in order to improve semantics. Wit.ai is used to detect contexts and concepts while the Word Sequence Kernel is used as a similarity measure between textual conversations taking into account the order of appearance of words in the conversation. A testing educate chatbot has been build which aims to provide FAQBot system for university students and acts as undergraduate advisor in student information desk. The performance of the proposed chatbot was compared to conventional messenger chatbots and showed better results.[...] Read more.
In this paper the existence problem of the equilibrium situation in differential antagonistic games with perfect information and lexicographic payoffs or in a -dimensional vector-payoffs' game where criteria are strictly ranged with preference relation is studied. The players' dinamic is defined by vector differential x=f( t,x ,u ),y=g( t,y ,v ) equations, respectively control functions u( .), v(. ) and ∈〔0.T〕time interval. This is a game ΓL(x0, y0)=(Γ1,...Γm ) where x0, y0 are starting positions in t=0 moment respectively the first and second players'. x(t)and y(t) are trajectories, the players final aim is finding their optimal variants. A lexicographic ε -equilibrium situation is defined in the game and the conditions of its existence are investiga-terd. These conditions are mainly about f and g functi-ons. The main definitions are introduced and some results are formulated from theory of differential games with scalar payoff functions and independent move-ments, they are the main for getting results for analogic differential games in the case of lexicographic payoffs. Some auxiliary statements correctness are also establi-shed, on its basic it is proved that in ΓL(x0, y0) game for any ε>0 there exists a lexicographic ε-equilibrium situation in pure strategies.[...] Read more.
A modified Model-Free Sliding Mode Controller (MF-SMC) scheme, which based on the Biogeography-Based Optimization (BBO) algorithm is suggested, to regulate the heart rate since it is difficult to derive a suitable model for the control algorithm, therefore the traditional control algorithm cannot perform efficiently. Also, a smoothing boundary layer is used to eliminate the chattering in the MF-SMC control signal. Results of simulation effort show that overshoot less and fast performance is achieved with stable convergence for the tracking regardless of the heart rate model to be controlled.[...] Read more.
This paper proposes a computational forensic methodology which identify and classify different marks on the human body using Hidden Markov model. The methodology gives an efficient and effective computerized approach for the characteristics of different marks such as birthmarks, burntmarks, tattoos and weapons’ wounds found on human body. This proposed method will be a computationally effective substitution for the traditional forensic method in identifying the body marks in crime investigation of homicidal cases. Hidden Markov Model (HMM) is statistical and logical tool suitable for this identification. The marks on human body describe different patterns with characteristics that are helpful in identification. The experimental results achieved for identification of different marks with an average accuracy of 94.6%, on the available database of 400 images that includes four categories: Birthmarks, Burntmarks, Tattoos and weapons’ wounds (100 images of each marks). The methodology gives the better combination of features (color, texture and shape), which are extracted for the identification of marks on human body for the purpose of computational forensic science.[...] Read more.
