This paper presents an image encryption instead of text to observe the block cipher modes of operation of the complex AES processing. A platform is built based on the mode operations for the experiments. The cipher image of ECB may appear patterns due to the identical color inputs. CTR and MCTR make those identical inputs different by adding counters to remove the patterns while CBC, CBF, and OBF do it by adding serious Cipher function outputs which are almost random numbers. The mode features resulted from adding number series and the ways of addition, are discussed and compared, which help to design the Switching Control to configure all the modes into a platform for the AES mode operations and image test.[...] Read more.
With the vigorous application of distance education in recent years, the biggest challenge that the learners and managers are facing today is how to institute the training courses and choose the learning resources according to the personal characteristics of learners. It is subjective to arbitrarily decide the learning resources. This study presents a new constructional method, based on the Bayesian networks of courses relationship. This method uses the feedback of learning resources from the learners and examination results of training courses as data samples. And a new procedure is presented, joining quantitative value of RFM model and naïve Bayesian algorithm, to classify the learners and offer more support to make decision. The objective of stereo rectification is to make the corresponding epipolar lines of image pairs be parallel to the horizontal direction, so that the efficiency of stereo matching is improved as the corresponding points stay in the same horizontal lines of both images. In this paper，a simple and convenient rectification method of calibrated image pairs based on geometric transformation is proposed, which can avoid the complicated calculation of many previous algorithms such as based on epipolar lines, based on fundamental matrix or directly depend on corresponding points. This method is divided into two steps including coordinate system transformation and re-projection of image points. Firstly, we establish two virtual cameras with parallel optical axis by coordinate system transformation based on the pose relationship of the two cameras from calibration result. Secondly, we re-project the points of the original image onto new image planes of the virtual cameras through geometrical method, and then realized the stereo rectification. Urinalysis remains one of the most commonly performed tests in clinical practice. Laboratory work can be greatly relieved by automated analyzing techniques. However, noisy and imbalanced urine samples make automatically identifying and classifying urine-related diseases become very difficult. This paper proposed hybrid sampling-based ensemble learning strategies by improving training data and classification performance. Having compared the effectiveness of several learning classifiers and data processing techniques, the experiments showed that the suggesting methods provided better classification accuracy than other approaches.[...] Read more.
Associative classification (AC) which is based on association rules has shown great promise over many other classification techniques on static dataset. Meanwhile, a new challenge have been proposed in that the increasing prominence of data streams arising in a wide range of advanced application. This paper describes and evaluates a new associative classification algorithm for data streams AC-DS, which is based on the estimation mechanism of the Lossy Counting (LC) and landmark window model. And AC-DS was applied to mining several datasets obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository and the result show that the algorithm is effective and efficient.[...] Read more.
Illumination analysis of spacecraft is very important. This paper firstly introduces the importance of spacecraft illumination analysis in aerospace fields and points out that illumination conditions will influence the design of shape of spacecraft body and the installation of spacecraft equipments. Then, it discusses two methods for analyzing spacecraft solar-panel shadow and illumination conditions: ray tracing illumination algorithm and polyhedral mesh contour edge projection algorithm and compares their efficiency and feasibility. Shadow area and solar area are computed of every cell on solar panels. We designed solar panel single-axis rotation experiment to validate the proposed algorithm. The experimental results show that contour edge projection algorithm has fine accuracy and costs less time. Transaction processing, as the key technology of web service composition (WSC), has obtained wildly concern. WS-BPEL as a primary web service composition description language, which couldn’t coordinate these web service transactions that distribute in a distributed computing environment reach consistent agreement on the outcome. This paper proposed two kinds of transaction types and coordination mechanisms by analyzing the features of WSC transaction, and a transaction processing coordination model based on BPEL was lastly proposed, by which extending the structure of BPEL firstly and then introduced the coordination mechanism into it. Minimum spanning tree is a classical problem in graph theory that plays a key role in a broad domain of applications. This paper proposes a minimum spanning tree algorithm using Prim's approach on Nvidia GPU under CUDA architecture. By using new developed GPU-based Min-Reduction data parallel primitive in the key step of the algorithm, higher efficiency is achieved. Experimental results show that we obtain about 2 times speedup on Nvidia GTX260 GPU over the CPU implementation and 3 times speedup over non-primitives GPU implementation.[...] Read more.
