Employee Performance Assessment is a part of the Decision Support System. One of the decision support system methods that are most used in performance assessment is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). In the SAW method, each criterion has a weight value to show the interest level. The determination of the criteria on the SAW method is subjective and the final result is on the ranked system and creates many problems. The study utilizes the Weighted Performance Indicators (WPI) method to solve the problems in the SAW method. The criterion is determined based on the respondent's opinion so that it will be more realistic to achieve the target. The population of the study is the employee of Indo Global Mandiri University which reach 30 persons. WPI method consists of 9 steps. The research result is shown that 4 employees has a performance below MSV and 36 employee has above MSV. The general value of the employee performance value = is 0.69. It shows that the performance of the employee at Indo Global Mandiri University is good enough. However, it needs to be increased, so that the target could be achieved. WPI method is easy to implement, it is not just limited to the employee performance assessment only, but it could be implemented for the other performance assessment, for example, human resource performance, finance, company, industry, system, etc.[...] Read more.
Shariah-based banking aims to apply Islamic finance while adhering to Shariah principles. The primary distinction between conventional and Islamic finance is that Sharia law explicitly forbids several of the activities and principles applied in conventional banking. According to Sharia law, “Paying or charging an interest (Riba)” lending with interest payments as an exploitative practice that benefits the lender at the expense of the borrower, “investing in businesses engaged in banned activities" like producing and selling alcohol or pork, “speculation or gambling(Maisir)” That means financial institutions are prohibited from participating in contracts where the ownership of goods depends on an unpredictable future event, and Participation in contracts with a high level of risk or uncertainty is referred to as "uncertainty and risk (Gharar)", which are strictly prohibited. As a result, consumers must be aware of whether they are taking Riba, Gharar, Maisir or if their money is invested in a halal firm. Because of its qualities, blockchain would be useful in this situation. This research tries to determine how blockchain technology can be used to make investments and profit or loss returns more transparent, more secure, Immutable and sharia compliant. Blockchain networks can be utilized in the financial industry, such as banking, to provide safe sharia banking.[...] Read more.
Online stores have integrated one or more payment gateways on their website to facilitate the transaction of goods and services. In the Nigerian case, many physical stores are moving online. However, there is a gap in the payment methods which have slowed down business due to limited payment methods, charges incurred on gateways, and insecurity of websites. This paper is tailored towards the security of online transactions, reduced credit card usage and yet accentuation of cashless policy in Nigeria. Inline with the above stated, this paper proposed a secured digital wallet using cryptography to proffer a solution to exposing confidential information to different sites and curb fraudulent actions. By means of qualitative and quantitative research approach, data on user transactions were collected through google survey forms on how often they make transactions, 91.3% shop online but only 48.1% shop very often and 55% of sample questioned security of online payment, from the quantitative facts above, a larger percent of people who uses financial tools in their shopping activities have more security concern which this study solely aim at. In response to the corncern in the preceeding clauses, a mathematical model was formulated to generate keys for the wallet using an asymmetric cryptography scheme to improve the security process while using an online service. Furthermore, wallet referred in this paper uses the fund preload techniques which limits how often users needs to swipe their credit card for an handshake with the commercial banks, the end goal thus strengthen the Nigeria cashless policy. This paper generated encryption and decryption keys from the extension of the Euclid theorem and implemented a system that can generate keys for fund and asset transfer with the crypto service. The system was tested using unit testing and alpha and beta testing to assert the aims of the research. The result showed that digital wallet usage reduces the exposure of sensitive information on funds and allows using the account on different sites.[...] Read more.
Nowadays the actual problem is that there is not any proper platform where software houses can collaborate or any proper marketplace where people related to IT fields can get jobs. The people fear whether the organizations are real or fake or whether they are registered or not and the individuals are finding registered organizations to get jobs. This work is making a project to solve all these problems. This work has made this project solve these kinds of problems. This project has used the iterative model, the iterative model is used to do all steps of development iteratively. This model helps make a project step by step. This project consists of two breakthroughs first one is a mobile app and the second one is the web. In mobile apps and the web, this work has used the Iterative model, first, the admin panel is made where the organizations can be managed by the admin and after that, the user interface of a mobile app is designed and then the app relates to the database which is mongo dB and with backend which is made in node Js. Similarly, on the web, this work has first made the user interface and then it relates to the database and back end like mobile, and technologies used on the web are the same as mobile. This work has done great research work to make this system and our system better than the existing systems and has removed all flaws that were in the existing systems. This work has collected data from registered organizations. These organizations are real and registered. This work also made a feedback system from their people who can give their feedback and this work can improve our system according to their needs.[...] Read more.
